JIRA cloud does not show full name(Name+ email id) in 'issue watchers'

Hi All,

In Jira cloud instance, if two people with same name (e.g: any 2 or more than 2 people with same name) are added in 'Issue watcher' field then it's very confusing which one i need to select as it is not showing full name(name and email id).

If I compair it with 'Assignee' field- here it is fine. In assignee column it is picking both name and email id . I want similar configuration in 'Issue watcher' field as well.

Can you share a screenshot here of the differences?

Ah, thank you for sharing - that is most helpful.

Two things - one is that I would report this as a bug to Atlassian:

https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Second - I would encourage all of your users to upload picture or other identifying avatar to their profile. Then you would be able to tell them apart. This will be your best solution, because I don't think Atlassian will get a fix to this anytime soon.
