JIRA comments changing from Visual to Text

I have several users that tell me that when they go back to edit the Description or Comment that the formatting changes from Visual text to Wiki.  

I have seen that it happens but not been able to replicate myself.  

Just wondering is anyone wiles experiences this issue

I have not personally encountered this specific problem myself yet, but I did some searching based on your description.  It sounds similar to this documented bug that was fixed in Jira 7.4.2: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-64121

Could you let me know what version of Jira you are using and if that description of that bug sounds like it might fit your scenario?

Thanks for the feedback - we just upgraded to 7.6.3 last night so I will see if this does fix the issue.
