JIRA configure board add column button greyed out

Hello Everyone!!

I added a user as a project administrator. Add column button in the configure columns section is greyed out.  Why is it not enabled for the user? Can someone help me here?

Hi Dilshad, you should add the user to be a board administrator too. 

Project administration is controlling other function related to the tickets under that project.
