Hi all,
I'm looking for some advice in relation to JIRA's general responsiveness?
Our team uses JIRA to manage our workflow (accessing it via cloud), however everyone in our team has issues with how slow JIRA loads.
For example:
I'm not sure if I can be more specific, it's really the whole experience.
I ordinarily use Firefox (latest version) on windows 7 (4GB RAM/mid range i5/HD4600).
A former member of the team used a high-spec Mac Pro (8 core Xeon/32GB RAM/8GB recent GPU).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Cheers.
On Cloud, the usual culprit is the connection between your machine and the Cloud servers.
Cloud is not running Jira 8, it's running Jira Cloud, which is a very different thing.
I see.
Our speeds here in the office are around 30mbps up and down.
Does this explain things, or is JIRA Cloud the likely issue here? :-)

Hi,
Jira board loading is usually slow and it depends on the number of issues that is getting fetched. Also atlassian claims they have considerable improvemnet in jira 8.
yet to see...

Glad to know it's not just us.
We aren't software dev though, which leads me to believe that we have quite a small number of tickets in comparison to some teams.
Cheers.
