JIRA issue key not displaying correctly

When a JIRA issue key appears in text in JIRA it is not displayed correctly.  We are using a custom jira.projectkey.pattern.

For example, if a user types "CNB0080-126" in a description field it is rendered as "CNB0080CNB0080CNB-126"

Just to confirm, could you tell us what the regular expression is for your project key pattern? (It probably is not the problem, but it might be related). Also, does this problem happen in comments too?
