JIRA - parent task closed, sub task recreated (two JIRAs exist)

Chris Mylonas April 19, 2012

I had PROJECT-58 as a task.

Created PROJECT-59 as a subtask.

Resolved & Closed PROJECT-58 and JIRA created PROJECT-60 which is a clone of PROJECT-59. Now both exist on my system. Is this expected behaviour?

I have not tried to repeat as yet.

Cheers

Nope that doesn't normally happen. There is something else going on here!

ok - I will have a look at what was set up for that task/sub-task in that project.

I just quickly tried again on another "Test Project" I have for working these things out and what I described did not happen. I'll try to get more info at the beginning of next week.

Thanks for your response

Chris
