JIRA requires password to be re-entered continuously

This is an itermittant problem. I've seen it in the Admin account, and now a user is reporting it. JIRA demands that the password be re-entered each time you nagivate to a new page, despite being logged in.

Do you have another application (i.e. Confluence) using almost the same URL address, by any chance?
