Hi team,

Is there any way to track the jira issues by changing the component?

For ex. I have a user story with X component and while delivery the component changes to Y. Is there any way to tarck these stories?

Any JQL for this or anything?

Thanks!

Hey @Sushant Verma

You mean like for which issues the component was changed from X to Y that needs to come up in results when you do JQL ?

I'm afraid if that is the ask that's not possible, as history searches for component is not supported.

I do not think I understand what you mean by "track the Jira issues"

Jira does that, it captures and records changes to them.  The most pertinent definition of "track" is "to observe or follow the course of progress of".  Which you can do by looking at the issue you are trying to track.

Could you explain the question or requirement a bit more?

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- Mine requirement is that, I have added one component to my story and after dedliver of that story, I changed the component again.
Now I want to track those stories for which I changed the component.

You track issues by reading the issue tracker, I'm still not sure what you mean by "track those stories"
