JIRA users not getting added to Bitbucket

Hi everyone

I have successfully linked JIRA and Bitbucket applications using links.

But i am unable to add JIRA users in bitbucket! How to do it? My jira users are not visible in bitbucket.

How to achieve this?

Actually, I found the right way to add users right immediately after posting the question. Sorry for not researching properly.

Hello Aditya,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It's a little confusing, but Application Links (what I assume you linked successfully) isn't what you would use to add Jira users to Bitbucket Server. Here is what you will do:

Jira side:

1.  Navigate to the admin panel (the cog in the top) and click "User Management"
2. Click  "Jira User Server" on the left side
3. Add an application and put in the application name, password, and IP address of Bitbucket Server

Bitbucket side:

1. Click on the cog in the top right and navigate to User Directories on the left
2. Click "Add a directory" and select "Atlassian Jira"
3. From there, add the Jira address and use the same Application Name and password you added from the Jira side
4. Hit "Test settings" and the "Save and test" once the test has been successful
5. You should be taken back to the directory list and click "Synchronize"

All done! Your Jira users should be synched over to the Bitbucket Server side.
