JIRA vs. GreenHopper > Is it possible to set the workflow so that it's only possible to set a task "In progress" if it is already within a sprint?

Hi everyone

Do you know if it's possible to set the JIRA workflow so that it's only possible to set task into In progress status as long as it belongs to an open sprint in GreenHopper?

You might want to check out the Jira Suite Utilities plugin :https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.googlecode.jira-suite-utilities

This has a field required validator that you could put on your transition to the 'In Progress' status for the Sprint field.

I'm currently unable to test this, but it looks like a solution for your problem.
