JIRA which Project Type Template is used as basis for projects

Anders Malmberg January 5, 2018

Hi, we are evaluating JIRA on Cloud and there have been some projects created during this time. Is there a way to find out which "Project Type Template" that have been used when the projects was created?

When creating a new project there are some alternatives; Scrum, Kanban, Bug Tracking, Agility, Project Management, Task tracking and Process Control.

I'd like to know which of this that have been used when a specific project was created.

Best Regards, Anders

I'm afraid Jira doesn't store that.  It doesn't really care what the template is because the project is quite likely to be changed later, and templates can change.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I was just curious on how projects based on different templates looked like when they were created. Have to read the manual and maybe create some project then :)
