Hi Team,
Could you please le tme know, how the integration between (recipocal links) works between "Data centre" and "Cloud" instances . For example, one JIRA on Data center and integrated with "Could" instances of "Bamboo" and Bitbucket.
We are on JIRA Server now and using exsiting JIRA server's Atlassian plugin software developer kit (SDK), which can create apps to extend Atlassian server applications like Jira Software. If we move Bamboo to "Cloud", would this feature works?
We are planning to move either to "DC' or "Cloud", which would be best option to persist our JIRA server feature as-is?
Please suggest us, moving form JIRA server is better to"DataCenter' or "Cloud"?
Bamboo does not have a Cloud version, you can only run it on DC. You can run it on Cloud hardware though (AWS, GC, Azure, etc)
The integration with other systems such as Jira works the same way for server and DC - you need to make Bamboo available over a network to the service you want to connect it to.
On the Jira side, you will need to think carefully about migration - Jira Cloud and Jira Server are very very different applications, and you will not be able to use your Server apps on Cloud - you'll need to rebuild them all from scratch, with the Connect or Forge platforms.
Jira DC and Server are almost the same thing though. You will need to check your apps work for DC. If they do things with indexing, sessions, and so-on, then they may not work properly on DC if you just install them (but you will be able to install them)
Thank you @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- for the info.

Hi @Devendar Gangapuram have you looked into the Atlassian Secure Tunnel plugin? This allows you securely connect your on prem instances to cloud instances, and it's free!
