Hello!

Is it possible to view attachments (.docx, .xlsx, .pdf) in JIRA without downloading files? Maybe something like confluecne-preview. 

It is very inconveniently to load files every time.

JIRA is optimized to be an issue tracking tool, not suited/ideal for files that you mentioned. You can submit a feature request to Atlassian but I doubt they will approve it and they will just refer you to use another tool like (like Confluence as you said). But it's a worth a try
