I have a user trying to view a link in Jira via her Confluence page. She gets the displayed error "Jira issue does not exist or you do not have permission" She can't see the Jira issues linked in Confluence but can see the ticket in Jira.
I just found out her userid's are not the same in each system. Would that be the problem? If so how can I resolved.?
Hi @Adonis Gilbert ,
That's likely the issue since her confluence ID has no permission. Not sure why her ID is different since it's on cloud. The userid should be centrally managed for your organization. Theoretically, she should be logging in with the same ID she used for Jira. If you are the org and site admin, you should be able to use one of the IDs and give her access to both products.

Thanks Ben,
I was able to change the userid to match Jira. Now able to see the Jira issues in Confluence.
