Hi,
In order to automate our workflow, we are creating sub-task automatically as a post function rules using JMWE.
In some cases, Jira is required to create 16 post functions / 16 tickets. in order to reduce load, I used the "delay" function to spread the load on 20 seconds. In some cases, some of the tickets are created twice (duplication). Can any one have a suggestion for a work around? the delay is limited to 20 seconds so if you suspect that that problem is performance as I do, I can't extent it beyond 20 seconds (system limitation). Maybe you have another idea about the source of the issue?
Thanks,
Michael
Why don't you use the Multiple Issue Creation feature of the Create Issue(s) post-function? This will actually automatically create the issues sequentially in order to avoid overloading your Jira instance.
