JQL openSprints() stopped working

I'm using Jira Cloud, and over the weekend "sprint in openSprints()" stopped working. It returns an error saying: "An option provided by the function 'openSprints' for the field 'Sprint' does not exist." The function won't even appear in the autocomplete for JQL anymore. We have many filters set up that stopped working because of this. We do have active sprints, though even if we didn't it should return nothing as opposed to the above error.

project in (SEWQ, SV, IP, DOR, CL) AND Sprint in (openSprints()) AND type in (Bug, "Change Request", Improvement, "New Feature", Story, Task) AND "Story Points" = EMPTY
