JQL query, where one field should contain something and other field should not contain something.

For example:

project = "ACC" and "Roles with direct authority[Checkboxes]" in ("IT Director", "QA/RA Director", "Development Director") and !("Main Responsible Role[Checkboxes]" in ( "IT Director", "QA/RA Director", "Development Director")) ORDER BY created DESC

This query is not working, but I wanted to make it so that in one field you have precisely these matches and in another, you will not have them.

So, is there a way I can do that?

Best regards,

Vladimir

Hi @Vladimir Sumilin

JQL propose a "not in" option. Can you try the folowing:

project = "ACC" and "Roles with direct authority[Checkboxes]" in ("IT Director", "QA/RA Director", "Development Director") and "Main Responsible Role[Checkboxes]" not in ( "IT Director", "QA/RA Director", "Development Director") ORDER BY created DESC

Hi @Seifallah Bellassoued

I got the answer, I just missed one ")" at the end. Now it's working, but thanks for help!

Best regards,

Vladimir
