JQL query

Hi , 

Please see the screenshot below ,

Given the query is to filter the ticket in which the start date is not empty
But in the results I got where the start date is empty as well 

Why it is like this

That is odd!

could you verify that your Index is up to date? The JQL is run against your index (not the database) so I wonder if the system doesn't know yet that it's actually filled in?

also if you open one of those issues does the Start Date also show empty?
