JQL to find spillover stories for a particular sprint

Jai Ganwani June 15, 2022

Is it possible to write a JQL to find spillover stories for a particular sprint. For eg. if I want to find stories that were spilled over in Sprint S4 from Sprint S3 or previous sprints before S4. In this case S4 is not my current sprint is already closed.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Issues that roll over into the next sprint when they're not completed don't actually "move", and they retain the data that they were in the old sprint.

Jira doesn't have any functions to find it, so you have to do this manually, creating or changing filters to match the current sprints, but

sprint = "sprint 42" and sprint = "sprint 43"

Will find you issues that were in both sprints.
