After upgrading to Jira Data Center 10.3.2, we've noticed a change in the behavior of the JQL issue search.
Previously:
When selecting a field or value from the auto-suggestion dropdown in the JQL Dropdown, Jira would automatically display results immediately after selection (without pressing Enter or clicking the "Search" button).
Now:
After selecting a field or value from the JQL suggestion, no results are shown automatically.
We must manually click the “Search” button or press Enter to run the query.
This behavior change has impacted user experience, as earlier the query would execute seamlessly with each selection.

I could not find any resources, but I believe it is an intentional UX adjustment, possibly to reduce unnecessary query executions (especially in large instances) for performance reasons. Unfortunately, there is no toggle to restore the old behaviour.
