Jira 2 Jira sync app

Rafael Sánchez-Moreno April 5, 2019

I am looking for good Jira2Jira sync app. Any ideas of someone that already synchronized at least 2 instances - cloud and server? I am looking for an approach independently of self-hosted or cloud-hosted.

We are delivering support tasks for our customers. They have their own JIRA instances for their own purposes. At this moment our people are logging in several instances by several customers the work done AND also in our internal JIRA. The idea behind is to centralize the work in our instance and synchronize ticket information.

Hi @Rafael Sánchez-Moreno ,

Yep, that is definitely possible using a synchronization tool.

We are the developers of the Exalate Issue Sync app.

You'll be able to synchronize any issue/ticket data of one of your instances to the other. This will happen in real-time. That way, you'll always be in the loop on progress status, comments, attachments and even work-logs or change history.

You'll be able to easily customize exactly what you'd like to sync and who you'd like to sync it with.

Our Product Manager for Exalate already wrote about this on the Atlassian community here: How to sync issues Jira Service Desk with multiple Jira Projects.

By the way, if you want, I can show you how it would work for your use case through a one-on-one demo. You can book one here: Book A Demo.

Let me know if you have any other questions at all!

Cheers,
Stefaan

Hi @Rafael Sánchez-Moreno ,

that's a typical use case for a sync app! Did you already have a look at the marketplace? There are several sync apps available, just click here. If you search here in the community, you'll also find several other customers who have asked this and are happily using one of those sync apps.

I'm working on the team behind Backbone Issue Sync, one of these sync apps. We have documented your use case to synchronize cloud and server in a help article, so you can easily get up and running. It's also possible to extend this to multiple Jira instances, see another help article how to synchronize one project with multiple other ones.

If you have more questions, either ask here or feel free to reach out to our support team! :-)

Cheers,
Sebastian

Strongly recommend https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211111/elements-copy-sync-for-jira-issues?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview from Elements. It was known as Exocet before rebrand.

Hi,

I'm IssueSYNC Product Owner.

You can use existing solution to synchronize multiple Jira instances like IssueSYNC.

It works for:

- cloud

- server

- data center deployments and supports different Jira version 6, 7, 8 and Jira editions

- Core

- Software

- Service Desk.

You setup whole integration via UI and you can let your project administrator's to setup/tune own synchronization for remote Jira connections prepared by sys admin before.

If you have questions, please contact us.

Cheers,

Łukasz
