Hi all,

we're facing an issue when triggering an automation. The scope is to send a web request to a server which has a public issued certificate, but is only accessible through a VPN connection.

The request fails with the error showed below and I really can't understand what is the issue. When trying the request through Postman it works correctely.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions on how to solve this issue!408_SocketException.png

Hello @Gianni Milani ,

You can use a VPN, but your Cloud systems will still be public, and therefore not contained within your network so if there is no access option outside the VPN then the server cannot communicate with the Cloud platform.

I believe what you will need to do is make sure that the IP ranges used by the Atlassian Cloud Suite are all whitelisted on your network and allowed to connect to the server as an external connection.  Check out the following documentation for details on the ranges:

Earl
