Jira Automation - check 2 date fields and set status

Hi

I have 2 fields

Forecast Date and Actual Date. I need to write an automation which should

compare forecast date + SLA (if less than now()) and if EMPTY Actual Date,

set the Status field to "Overdue"

What have you tried to solve this need?

If you have an automation rule which is not working as expected, please post images of your complete rule, the actions / conditions, the audit log details showing the rule execution, and explain what does not work as expected.  Those will provide context for the community to offer suggestions.

If you have not written a rule yet, I encourage you to try to do so.  Successfully using automation requires learning and experimentation.  Then if you run into challenges, the community can help.
