Hello @Gaurav Chawla

I have questions about what you mean when you say "story created on Epic post Planned dev start".

Is "Planned dev start" a field in the Epic issue that records the planned dev start date?

When you say "story created" would you want to compare the Creation Date of the story to the Planned Dev Start date of the Epic? Or would you want to compare the Planned Dev Start date of the Epic to the date the story is added to the Epic?

This task can be completed using the Automation for Jira feature. The exact steps depend on the answers to the above questions.

Yes ,

Planned Dev start ETA - field on EPIC

The use case is , how to track all new stories created post Planned Dev start

Please describe the flow of events and what you would want to happen.

Which of these events would start the process?

- Creating an issue

- Making the issue a child of an Epic

Which of these conditions would cause the Label to be added?

- The Created Date of the issue is newer than the Planned Dev Start ETA date on the parent Epic

- The date the issue was added as a child of the Epic is newer than the Planned Dev Start ETA date on the parent Epic

Does this rule need to be run against multiple projects?

Newly created story will fall in backlog unless creator do not assign sprint name while creating a story. If you really want to know the scope then go to sprint report and check * in front of issue

If you're are Jira Admin (Not project admin) then yes you can. Also, it is enterprise custom, only your organization Jira Enterprise admin can set this.
