Jira Base url not working

I have installed Jira on my company laptop and the abse rul is localhost:8100 but hen I invite users they cannot access the site how do I fix the base url and what does it need to be fixed to?

I assume that you can reach your Jira instance within your own computer.

Hi @Mokhtar Ibrahim ,

You will need to create a DNS that resolves to your company laptop machine, since localhost is used to access the own network and this will only work from inside your company laptop.

You can also access directly using the your company laptop ip, let say that your company laptop IP is 192.168.0.10 and you are in the same network you can access using http://192.168.0.10:8080

*you can still face some firewall issues and will need to enable the application port
