Jira Cloud + Slack "Unknown transitioned..."

Hi all,

I read about this in another question but wanted to verify that it is the same as what is happening to me.

I have the Jira Cloud integration setup for Slack, and it is all working just fine, except that when my Jira workflow triggers fire, I get a message in the Jira app messages that says, "Unknown transitioned a <issue type> you are assigned to from..."

From what I understand this is happening because Jira cannot resolve the GitHub user that caused the trigger to fire because that user is not present in Jira.

My GitHub account is using email address A and I have added email address B to it and set it as the default.

My Jira account is setup using email address B as well.

Is that what is happening here? I have a couple of other engineers with the same issue and would like to fix it.

What can we do?
