Jira Cloud and issue in searchFromAD()

We have just migrated from On Prem to Jira Cloud - We heavily used the JQL filter issue in searchFromAD() in on prem version to report based on reporter city

Apparently this is not available for use in Jira cloud version? Can anyone confirm if they have this working? Much appreciated!

as far as I can research, this filter is provided by the app "Active Directory Attributes Sync" which is not available for cloud.

Maybe someone from Devinity can step in here.

Is there an alternative way to sync this data from AD? An alternate Addon?

There must be others using this feature, its a heavily used option - How can we tell users location otherwise? Is there an alternate means? Appreciate your help!

This is not a function in cloud. That appears to be related to Active Directory which is not supported in cloud.
