Jira Cloud app for Slack "Home" tab not working

My Jira Cloud app for Slack does not populate its "Home" tab with my Jira work - it displays the default info and a green "Login" button. I tried logging in several times, revoked and reinstated the app access, but didn't work.
Any idea how to kick start the Home tab?

(at the same time, in comparison, the Confluence Cloud app for Slack "home" tab works properly.)

This is possibly (likely) a slack issue, not a Jira one.  You'll need your slack admin to confirm permissions are set for the integration between the two apps.  The fact that you cannot log in indicates something wrong on Slack side (again, most likely).
