I am getting error in excel application saying system administrator has blocked the add-ins from the office store and not able to get export the data from Jira
Hi @parteek.kumar , I think that the error indicates the cause. Check with your IT department assuming this is who administrators your Office instance.
Hi there! I'm from Unito - we're an Atlassian partner that offers a 2-way integration for Jira and 50+ other apps and tools, including Excel!
My colleague Ben put together this demo to show you how in less than 3 minutes you can sync Jira to Excel.
You can get Unito's Atlassian app right here.
Hope it helps!

Hi Parteek,
Yes, it feels like a permissions issue. Ask your admin for the correct access.
If you need a quick workaround, you can use a spreadsheet that's designed for Jira + that has Excel export: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226209/visor-flexible-spreadsheet-for-jira-roadmapping-bulk-edits?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Hope that helps if you aren't able to work out the permissions you need to get Excel add-in to work for you.
Best wishes,
Becky

Hi @Becky Brooks - Visor for Jira , be sure to add a disclaimer that you work for the vendor when are recommending an app from your company, this ensures transparency.

Got it! I thought it being in my name made it clear. Will be more forward about that!

welcome to the community!
It looks like there might be an incident, as the same problem is also reported by others. You may want to reach out to Atlassian Support about this.
Best,
Hannes
