Jira Cloud order sprint board by parents priority?

My sprint board displays by assignee, and we are using Epic > Task > Subtask with only the tasks and subtasks on the sprint board.

I want to order work by the priority on the parent task, not from the subtask can I do this?

I only know how to get the boards filter to do priority order (ORDER BY priority DESC) which takes from the subtasks not parent tasks. 

If I cant run a filter for it could I take the priority field from subtasks, leave them on tasks and then have the filter on the sprint board "ORDER BY priority DESC" ??

I'm not sure what version of Cloud you are using but I have seen others remark that they have Advanced Roadmaps as part of their offering. Advanced Roadmaps will allow you to Rank work in that view based on parent hierarchy and those changes will be reflected in the scrum boards. Other than that, I don't know of a way.
