Hello,
I created a new request form in Jira Service Desk and essentially this form is to be submitted by our HR dept to our IT dept for new hires in our organization. This form basically has a list of tasks needed for out IT dept. to complete onboarding. That said, is there a user friendly way for us to track when items are completed and who they are assigned? There will be three people in out IT dept that will be responsible for various items requested on this form so it will be nice to know when one person has completed the items they are responsible for and to show those items as completed and then have the remaining items assigned to the next person in IT. Does this make sense? If so, would this be something that can be accomplished via automation rules or would a workflow work for this purpose? Or maybe a third party app?
Thanks
Based on what you have presented here, the way I would approach this would be to assign the issue to the initial person and create sub tasks for the specific tasks he or she has to perform. Then once those are complete they could reassign the parent at which time an automation rule would create subtasks for the second person, etc.
