Hi @Marc Dixson welcome to the community. I tried replicating, but couldn't get the macro to work. (I'm sure it's user error.) I looked out on Atlassian's Jira site and couldn't find anything similar. If you can reproduce it, (which you can) I would suggest opening a support ticket on support.atlassian.com with more details and have Atlassian take a look at it.
