Jira Issue Event Listener

I want to develope an Issue Event Listener Plugin where whenever an Issue is created,updated,closed,reolved etc. then it should store the data related to the operation in a .txt or .pdf file on my local machine.

I went through the tutorial given by atlassian on 'Event Listeners' but that contains Logger which I don't want and don't understand that as well.

I hope what I am asking is possible. Please advice.
