Jira / Jira Help Desk create a new ticket

Hello all,
I own Jira and Jira Help Desk.
When a Jira Help Desk user creates a new ticket for a specific project, in Jira that new ticket is assigned directly to a person.
How do I change this person? I modified the project manager of this project to put the new person but it does not work.

So, for the JSM project in question:

Look in the Project Settings -> Details

Take a look at the Project Lead value and Default Assignee.  Make sure the person you want is identified as Project Lead.

If it doesn't work, there may be some automation at play.

@Murat Nicolas The assignment could be happening via one of the following ways: 

  1. Request Type - See if the request type issue is setting the assignee by checking the request type fields.
  2. Workflow - Check the workflow and see if it is happening on issue create.
  3. Component - See if a component is being set on the request type and if it is see if the component has an assignee on it.
  4. Automation - Are there any automations running that are setting the assignee?
