Hey all,
we use the selfhosted JIRA Software Version 7.4.1 with the new kanplan function at the kanban boards.
Now, we have some request from our customer, that many users ignore some issue in the backlog because there are not directly visible in the Board.
Is there any plugins or a function in jira that we can show the number of issues in the backlog in any view?
The best idea was an badge on the Backlog outbar to see the open issues. See Mockup attached this post.
Best Regards,
Orazio
Alternatively, you may create a filter like the board's filter, but adding:
...AND status in ("To Do", "Pending") ORDER BY Rank ASC
changing the statuses to the ones mapped to the backlog.
After that, create a daily subscription to that filter for every user that should be aware of those issues in the backlog.
I've not seen a plugin like that.
If you're customer would be interested we may be able to implement it for him.
Drop me an email on info@extensi.io
