Hello all,
New JIRA and Confluence user here, I've been looking around to see if it's possible to turn off the "new issue view" permanently. I've seen a lot of mixed results. I have also seen a ton of heated opinions on the matter, some I agree with, others I don't.
What I want to know is...
1) Can I disable Jira Labs/New Issue View for good?
2) Can I disable it by default for users/projects
3) Is the "New issue view" going to be forced at some point across the board, not just for next-gen-software projects or business projects?
Thank you,
AJ
Hi @AJ Palmer
Per several other posts I have seen in the community, global disable is not an option yet.
It would be great if someone from Atlassian would respond to these requests for a global disable. Experiments are great: that is one way to learn about fit/function for a product change. And, changing more often than than your customers will accept is also valuable info.
Best regards,
Bill
I agree. I've looked around the community and seem all sorts of responses, mostly negative.
I just wanted an official Atlassian response as of 2019 if my questions could be answered or expanded on.
