Jira Macro in Confluence - Display columns issue..

Johan Ekman March 14, 2023

Hi all,

annoying issue with the jira embed marco in confluence. So since Jira cant enable us users to set the Columns to display when adding it in table style

it defaults to show the same

  1. Key
  2. Summary
  3. Issue Type
  4. Created
  5. Updated
  6. Due Date
  7. Assignee
  8. Reporter
  9. Priority
  10. Status
  11. Resolutionb

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-59092
like jira says in below ticket...please implement this change request.

Anyhow, then it i stated that a user can make a table issue with the selected columns to display and use copy and paste that table and then edit the issue / key value instead.

So I tried to make the table with the columns I wanted, only 4. Key, assignee, status and resolution... and copied it to then change the key to another issue..but the table does not change when clicking insert...

I cant modify the issue....menaing I still have to 1 million times remove the 7 points in the list above to get to my 4....

Why cant I modify the table to swap it out for a new issue at least ?!
Please any ideas how this can be solved...
