Jira Mail Auth always fail Secure IMAP

Hi Team , 

We see that Jira is able  to reach the mail server on 0ffice 365 but we still get Authentication failed . Yes we double checked the username passwords are correct!. typed in notepad and checked to avoid keyboard layout issues.

Does your IMAP account definitely have permission to use that Exchange service?

Also, is IMAP enabled?  MS is trying to push people to their own MAPI protocol and now default IMAP to disabled.  You should check with your mail administrators to see if they can upgrade the mailbox to support IMAP (well, IMAPS anyway)
