Jira Mail Handler: ASV3 BAD User is authenticated but not connected

Hi,

I have created a mail server with following details:

Protocol: SECURE_IMAP

Host: outlook.office365.com

Port: 993

The test connection was successful. Now I am trying to use this mail server to create a mail handler for Jira software project but it shows below error on Test:

"Messaging Exception in service 'com.atlassian.jia.service.services.mail.MailFetcherService$MessageProviderImpl' when getting mail: ASV3 BAD User is authenticated but not connected.javax.MessagingException: ASV3 BAD User is authenticated but not connected. 

The connection is no longer open, messaged marked as deleted will not be purged from the remote server; outlook.office365.com until the next run."

Please suggest if there is way to identify the root cause and fix it.
