Jira Performance - Onshore vs Offshore

We have JIRA software hosted on-prem in US location. Much of the team which will use JIRA sits offshore i.e India (Asia).

Will there be any impact on the performance of Jira for. view dashboard, create issue, add attachment etc.

It will feel slower, as the distance means it takes longer for the packets to travel, and with a longer path, there are more chances for things to go wrong
