I have a general question about Jira Plan. Are you able to hide / remove the numbering in the Work Item column so that it isnt in sequential order (1,2,3,4) 

Alternatively, if thats not possible, can move a column from the field section in front of the work items? So for example Global Rank to be the first column in the plan (before Work item)?

Hi Travis,

That's not the "work item column", it is just the row numbering like what you would have in a spreadsheet. 

What is the actual issue you are trying to solve?

Hi John thanks for reaching out. I am attempting to remove the row numbers because it is being conflated with rank, which is not the case.

On the plan, you can drag the work items higher or lower.

Thank you appreciate the feedback, that doesnt quite work for us in this situation but I am assuming, based on that, that the row numbers are not able to be hidden?
