On my plan I'm trying to change the date field with the one that we use on the source project.
When I try to select it I get this message :
This field (id:10119) is already in the field configuration for all ticket types in the source project so it's already available on all tickets. It's the field we use for all of our tickets in that project.
What am I missing?

Thank you the workaround actually helped to select the field.
However I have encountered another problem now as I'm realizing that the field that I want has the same name but a different id (id=10122). For some reason this ID is not available on the list.
The custom field is a date time picker. It has one context and it says "This field will be available on issues of any type in all projects"
How come this field is not available for me to pick when it's there in my custom fields and in my projects?

Never use fields with the exact same name, this can cause issues.
Specially on functions in the system that auto populate options that can be used and on system ootb fields.
Specially date fields or estimation fields.
