Jira Pop-up colors text disappears

I have a problem with the default color scheme in Jira 7.13.3 but I do not know how to fix it.  Editing an issue, any of the the drop-down fields (Priority, Assignee, Labels) brings up a pop-up dialog.  The selected choice is invisible because the dark text is covered by the dark selection bar.

The Look-and-Feel system properties offers the ability to change colors but I do not know which to change.  Are the many color fields on the Look-and-Feel page defined anywhere?
