Jira Project Details Fields- Add Additional Fields?

Good Morning,

We are currently working on some integrations on our Jira Software Cloud instance.

Need: Is there a way for us to add additional fields to the Project Details of a project.

Location: Project-->Project Setting-->Details

Reason: We want to add three additional fields that we can control for the purpose to sync with another 3rd Party Software.

Is this possible without an add on? If so how?
If an add on is required which one do we use?

It's not possible to add fields to projects in Jira. If you need to add properties or fields to projects it is necessary to use any app from the marketplace.

I can recommend you Profields (Project tracker for Jira) to add project fields and track you projects:
