Jira REST API

Hi,

My Jira version is 4.0.2 and I would like to integrate with other application so that created issue can be transferred automatically from other application to My JIRA system.

How Can I use the Jira REST API?

Could you please help me regarding this issue?

REST Api is not supported on Jira 4.0.2
