Jira Re-indexing stopped and not moving further. What could be the reasons?

Can you try as follows ?

1. Shut down JIRA

2. Navigate to <JIRA-Home>/caches/indexes directory

3. Remove contents from 'indexes' folder (Can be re-created when we do indexing again)

4. Start JIRA

5. Start indexing again.

See how it goes.

All sorts of things can do this. Start by reading the log file from when indexing started, see if there are errors in there.
