Jira Release automation

We would like to manage releases through the Jira Release feature. I can see how you this is useful as there is an integration with Bamboo and Bitbucket, however there doesnt appear to be an integration with confluence to grab and related, linked confluence pages to include in the release.
What is and how are people handling release notes and documents with confluence?
Are you running a task in Bamboo that grabs confluence pages, or are you storing release documents in another location?
