Jira - Select Project type in case of working with bitbucket

We intend to work with JIRA projects related to A code in Bitbucket. What type of Jira project should we select ?

You can select any project type but since you are integrating with Bitbucket, go with the Software Developement project. The DVCS connector will sync commits from Bitbucket to JIRA issues (commit tab) in your new project.
