I am actually wondering if there is a way to increase assigned CPU cores to the Jira application? There are currently (8) cores assigned to the server, but it seems to be only using (1). This seems to be causing slow loading, starting, et cetera.
The system has (12)GB of memory, and it still takes about 7-10 minute startup, and there are definite lags when going from page to page.
When I actually start the system and I watch the CPU utilization it shows that it never goes above about 12%, but when I actually check to see what's happening in the OS it shows that it is using 300% of the CPU. This makes me think that Jira isn't using more than 1 core.
Has anyone found a way to do this?
CentOS7 && Jira 8.5
I've been running "top" as jira started and it jumps up to 690%
