We are in the process of testing the functionality and want to see if Dashboards are viewable by customers for requests that they logged . In addition to seeing the logs

Hello Warren and welcome to Atlassian Community!

Customers will have access only to the customer portal, for dashboards only licensed users have access or non-logged users (you can share the dashboard with the public).
We have a feature request suggesting that customers have access to the system dashboard:
